The board is responsible for ensuring that all business risks are identified, evaluated, and suitably managed.  In a world of increasing complexity and uncertainty, directors must manage risk more assiduously than ever before.  The execution of the risk-management system should be entrusted to the management, which is in charge of daily risk management.” Extract from a guide to Corporate Governance Practices in the European Union – EcoDa 2015 The risk and insurance professional has an increasingly key role to play in supporting the board, the business and society.  This Panel will consider the changes in an increasingly complex, inter-connected, fast moving and virtual world, and what the risk and insurance professional must do to meet the challenges of today's and tomorrow's Risk Leader.
